OAK CLIFF, TX – In Irish, they call it Ceol Agus Craic, but we call it music, food and fun with a wee bit of fundraising at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Oak Cliff, 3839 W. Kiest Blvd., Dallas, Texas 75233 on March 9.
5:00 PM: SOCIAL HOUR and music starts; live entertainment will be provided throughout the evening.
ENTERTAINMENT:
- JOSEPH CARMICHAEL, a musician from North Texas who plays guitar and flutes/whistles.
- BRIDGHID’S GREENE, a local sinhing duet consisting of two singers who are also a story teller and a harpist;
- GRAHAM SHURTLEFF, an Irish fiddler. The four will perform Irish music featuring ballads, solos, instrumentals and sing-a-longs and a little story telling.
6:00 PM DINNER MENU: Authentic homecooked Irish dinner by Hazel for carnivores and herbivores.
7:00 PM GOODS & SERVICE AUCTION: There will be silent and not so silent auctions held during the evening. A few things offered for your bidding pleasure include:
