Soccer Game Honors Breast Cancer Victims

DUNCANVILLE, TX – Friday, March 1, was Pink Out at the Duncanville-Cedar Hill girls’ soccer matches. The Duncanville JV played a 6:00PM game at Cedar Hill and took a bus back to Duncanville to join the Varsity squad in a pre-game ceremony at Old Panther Stadium. The ceremony honored Deborah Neal, the wife of Coach Ron Neal.
To honor all who have battled breast cancer, the Duncanville squads wore pink jerseys and the Cedar Hill teams wore black jerseys with pink lettering. In addition, the Cedar Hill Varsity had the name Monzingo on their jerseys to honor Janet Monzingo, mother of Cedar Hill number 3 Morgan Monzingo, whose battle with the disease is documented on page 5 of the March 7th edition of the Suburban Newspaper.
Sales of t-shirts and other donations raised over $1000 for the Susan G. Komen Foundation
