Grand Prairie Police Seek Robbery Suspect

robbery suspectGRAND PRAIRIE, TX – The Grand Prairie Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a robbery suspect. On August 18th, 2016 around 2:15 a.m., a male suspect entered a 7-11 convenience store located at 3985 S. Belt Line Road and threatened the store clerk with a machete.

He is described as a black male, 18-21 years of age. The suspect appears to be wearing a maroon hooded sweatshirt with the Mesquite High School logo on the front. He fled to a small, dark colored, newer model get-away car driven by an unseen suspect.

Anyone with information regarding this offense is asked to contact the Grand Prairie Police Department. Tipsters can also remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.00 for information leading to the arrest of the suspect by contacting Grand Prairie Crime Stoppers at 972-988-TIPS.

The same suspect has also committed robberies in Duncanville and Red Oak.
