DeSoto Resident Taj Clayton Named to Dallas Business Leaders List

Taj Clayton - 2015 - 2 reducedDESOTO, TX – Accomplished Dallas attorney and DeSoto resident Taj Clayton of Fish & Richardson has been named as one of the city’s top young business leaders for 2016 by the publishers of the Dallas Business Journal based on his professional accomplishments, business savvy and commitment to the community.
Mr. Clayton is a principal at Fish, where he represents clients in state and federal court cases involving complex business disputes, intellectual property claims, employment law and mass torts.
This is the second time Mr. Clayton has been honored in the Dallas Business Journal. He received the publication’s 2016 Minority Business Leaders Award in January for his extensive work helping minorities advance in the workplace. Mr. Clayton also has been selected to the Texas Rising Stars list for several years thanks to nominations from other Texas attorneys. The annual listing of the state’s top young lawyers is published by Thomson Reuters legal division, publisher of Super Lawyers magazine.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Clayton is very active in working in the community with nonprofits and charities. He recently earned unanimous selection to the national board of directors for Girls Inc., which provides educational and developmental programs for more than 140,000 girls nationally. He also is a current or former board member for Dallas Children’s Theater, Dallas Chamber Music Society and Launchability, which provides a variety of services for adults with developmental disabilities.
Mr. Clayton recently was named to the latest edition of Who’s Who in Black Dallas. He also was recently inducted to The Dallas Assembly, an organization of Dallas business leaders who are committed to the betterment of the city.
