CEDAR HILL, TX – On March 9, 2013, at 11:00 am, the plans for a renovation of the Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Park will be shared with the public. Leading the project management is Jim Johnson, President and CEO of the Jim Johnson Group, best known for building Luxury Custom Homes and Commercial Properties. Landscape design is through the creation of Horticulturist Sarah A. Harn, owner of Sarah in the Garden.
In celebration of the one year anniversary for saving of the Park, the Cedar Hill Pet Memorial Project, Inc., is hosting a clean-up event at the Park. This event represents the 2nd part of the mission for the non-profit in maintaining the Park in perpetuity. The goal is to complete the renovation project by the end of 2013 in preparation to accept the War Dog Monument planned for dedication in 2014.
Working in collaboration with Northwood University’s Professor Diane Feffer and her senior Strategic Marketing class, the non-profit plans to reach out to corporate sponsors, as well as local veterinarian offices to raise the necessary funds for the renovation.
The organization continues to look for volunteers to serve on their very active Board of Directors. For more information concerning the event on March 9th or to volunteer for service with the Board, please contact Theresa M. Brandon by calling 972-754-9996 or sending an e-mail to email@example.com.
Location of the Park is 2 miles South of Cedar Hill on Hwy 67, (Mt. Lebanon Rd exit, east side of highway next to Abby’s Self Storage) – 11:00 a.m.
